Scope and Subject of the Contract
These terms of use govern the legal relationship between WebKurse GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Provider") and users (hereinafter referred to as "Participants") in connection with the use of online courses for creating professional websites and digital content for businesses.
The subject of the courses is the teaching of knowledge in the areas of web development, content creation, and digital technology. The Provider makes the course content available in the form of video tutorials, written instructions, and exercises.
- The courses serve professional development and teach both basic and advanced techniques.
- Participants receive access to the course materials for the duration of the course period.
- Commercial use of the acquired knowledge is permitted after completing the course.
Rights and Obligations of Participants
Participants undertake to use the course content exclusively for personal learning purposes. Passing on, reproducing, or making the materials publicly accessible without the written consent of the Provider is prohibited.
Participants are themselves responsible for the technical requirements for using the courses. This includes a stable internet connection, a suitable device, and the necessary software.
Payment Terms
The course fees are to be paid before the start of the course. Payment is made by bank transfer or credit card. In the event of late payment, the Provider reserves the right to revoke access.
- The course fees are transparently displayed on the website.
- There is no entitlement to a refund if the course is not used.
- In the event of technical disruptions on the part of the Provider, access will be extended free of charge.
Limitation of Liability and Warranty
The Provider is fully liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for damages arising from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the Provider.
Otherwise, the Provider's liability is limited to compensation for typical and foreseeable damages, provided the damages are based on a simple negligent breach of essential contractual obligations.
Warranty for Course Content
The Provider warrants that the course content has been created with the required care. No guarantee is given for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the content, as technology and digital standards are constantly evolving.
- The courses teach fundamentals and methods based on the current state of technology.
- The Provider assumes no liability for damages arising from the application of the knowledge taught.
- Participants are required to independently verify the techniques they have learned.
Termination and Changes
The terms of use may be changed by the Provider with four weeks' notice, provided the changes are reasonable for the Participant. The Participant will be informed of changes by email.
The Participant may terminate the contract at any time without stating reasons. The termination must be sent in writing to the address provided in the legal notice. Course fees already paid will not be refunded upon termination.
Consequences of Termination
Upon termination, access to the course materials expires. The Provider is entitled to delete the Participant's data after the statutory retention periods have expired.
- Termination can be made by email to info@lawyerwebsites.com.
- In the event of termination by the Provider for good cause (e.g., violation of the terms of use), the notice period is waived.
- After termination, the Participant has no right to the release of the course materials.
Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is the registered office of the Provider.
Should any provision of these terms of use be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. In place of the invalid provision, a valid regulation shall apply that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
